Oberbann Sigrune Sets
Set of D.J. Oberbann Sigrunes. This was the pattern that was introduced in 1934 when the H.J. Oberbann Structure was established. Worn in lieu of the H.J. armband by D.J. members. These replaced the earlier style Sigrunes and established more uniformity among the Jungbanns. 1 Red, 2 Yellow, 3 Green, 4 Blue, 5 Black, 6 White. These remained in use until a reorganisation in 1935-36 eliminated the Oberbann structure. From that point the red background with white rune became the standard symbol of the D.J. and was worn by all D.J. members. The exception is the white background with black rune which was used by D.J. members of the N.P.E.A. and A.H.S. attendees. First photo is a set of uniform removed Sigrunes. Second photo are the more commonly found unissued variety. Unissued Sold, Worn complete set $850.00 will not sell seperate.
